Abstract Submission
Deadline abstract submission: January 31, 2017
Notification of acceptance of abstracts: February 2017
Please note that the acceptance of your abstract does not include
congress registration.
At least one author (the first or the pre-
senting author) needs to register for the congress. The abstract
will otherwise not be reviewed and waived from the scientific
committee.

Digi Poster Presentation:
There will be three Poster Walks:
Short Presentations on Digi Posters.
Short Talk Presentation:
Short talks (10 minutes + 2 minutes discussion) will be selected
on the basis of the abstracts by the session chairs. Short talk
speakers are invited to present a digi poster in addition to their
talk.
“Das Terminal” was created specifically for digital
poster presentations and offers:
• Ideal visibility on a 60" Full HD screen with integrated PA dis-
cussion system.
• Controlling posters via Apple© iPad© gestures and integrated
“laser pointer”.
• Full implementation of audio and video.
• Powerful, full poster content search.
• Communicate with poster authors via email
(permission assumed).
• Poster upload online, quickly, and easily.
• Secure poster content.
A new poster presentation technology will be used. The equip-
ment is made specifically for displaying dynamic poster presen-
tations and features on a 60-inch monitor, and authors give their
oral presentations using an iPad and microphone. There will be 8
digital poster terminals that will be scheduled with poster presen-
tations in 15 minute increments throughout the meeting days.
New features available for posters include:
• the ability to embed graphics and video files to demonstrate
results;
• complete site search for all posters; and
• the ability to communicate with authors, leave comments, and
ask for more info.
